Root Share Brand Strategy

Northwestern’s free produce share program

Connecting Students to free and fresh food.

Wild Roots is Northwestern’s student-run garden. They approached the ASG (Student Government) Sustainability Committee with a pressing concern: how do we connect our extra produce to Northwestern students for free?

Using data about food waste and insecurity on college campuses in the U.S., I then crafted this brand strategy to present recommendations on what to name the produce share program, how to market it, and how it should show up in the Northwestern community.
